Jim Haley manages the team that handles technology procurement for the New York Power Authority. Jim has over 20 years of experience in procurement, and has been with the Authority for the last 6 years. Prior to that, he worked for 21 years in telecommunications, has his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, and his MBA from Long Island University. Jim has been involved through both Engineering and Procurement in cutting edge technologies such as Fiber Optic planning, Video streaming services, Cyber Security, Robotics, Smart Cities, Asset Performance Management, and Aritifical Intelligence and Machine Learning.
