Anne O’Malley is a Supplier Diversity Compliance Manager with the NY Power Authority. In this role, she is focused on increasing the participation of Diverse Businesses in procurement contracts. She concentrates her outreach efforts towards New York State certified Minority and Women-Owned Businesses (MWBE), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and Small Businesses. Anne collaborates with NYPA Stakeholders throughout the Procurement lifecycle to set appropriate contract goals, provide information on diverse suppliers and track contract compliance. 

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dominican University and began her career as an Accountant and advanced into positions for transactional procurement and then to construction estimating. 

Working at NYPA has created new opportunities to build upon these skills and increase the participation of diverse firms for procurements opportunities at the largest state-owned utility in the United States. She finds great challenges and satisfaction in helping to create real opportunities for small, local and diverse businesses. She is inspired by the economic impact small businesses have across NYS and the success stories of large companies that started out as small businesses. 

When Anne is not working, she enjoys playing golf, bicycle riding and spending time with her family and friends.
