Nicholas Peretta is the director of engineering in NYPA’s eMobility group. His engineering team leads the deployment of the charging systems throughout New York State, including level 2 and 3 public chargers and fleet chargers for transit buses, school buses, light-duty fleets, and at airports. Nicholas has worked in the eMobility group for 6 years. Before that, Nicholas worked in NYPA’s energy efficiency department for 6 years. Prior to joining NYPA, he worked as an HVAC design engineer for 5 years. Nicholas holds a professional engineering (PE) license, project management professional (PMP) certification, and is a certified energy manager (CEM) certification. Nicholas holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Pace University.
