Alyson Danielewicz is an accomplished professional with experience in diverse roles encompassing education, business ownership, and the utility industry. Currently serving as the Supplier Diversity Program Manager at the New York Power Authority (NYPA), Alyson has been instrumental in developing and managing supplier diversity programs that enhance the inclusion of diverse firms across New York State. Her career at NYPA includes roles such as Site Buyer II and within Project Managment, where she honed her expertise in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationships. Prior to her tenure at NYPA, Alyson held various positions at Niagara University, including University Field Supervisor of Student Teachers, and also owned and operated Heart of a Child Daycare Inc.
Alyson holds a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Literacy from Niagara University and a Bachelor of Science in English Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Her commitment to lifelong learning is further demonstrated by her certifications in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Transportation and Freight Management, Purchasing and Supply Management, International Logistics, and Inventory Management and Warehousing. Passionate about supporting small and local businesses and the communities they serve, Alyson firmly believes that these businesses are vital to economic growth, job creation, and the generation community development.
