Elizabeth Clarke-Pilgrim, CPCU serves as the Manager of Corporation Insurance at New York Power Authority and New York State Canal Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating a wide variety of risk management and insurance programs to aid NYS, NYPA and NYSCC achieve its strategic goals. Elizabeth has applied metrics to aid in decision-making in regard to determining bid exceptions to achieve favorable terms and conditions for NYPA.  She is a strong supporter of transparency and encouraging open communication amongst internal and external clients in order to prevent information silos and achieve ideal results for all. Prior to joining NYPA, Elizabeth had a number of roles in the insurance industry ranging from underwriting to risk manager both on the carrier side and as a client. She has over fifteen (15) years in insurance ranging from adventure insurance to wedding insurance and looks forward taking every opportunity to continue learning and understanding various insurance coverages.
