Learn About the Expo

Guided by this year’s theme, “Energizing New York’s Economy,” the 2026 New York Power Authority (NYPA) and New York State Canals Corporation (Canals) Supplier Diversity Expo is designed for action to create meaningful engagement. Attendees gain direct insight into Vision2030 Renewed strategic priority projects, procurement pathways, and upcoming opportunities.

At the heart of the experience are the Business Meet-Ups. These pre-scheduled, 1:1 conversations with NYPA and Canals procurement leaders and project teams are built to foster collaboration, and give suppliers the chance to introduce capabilities, ask targeted questions, and build relationships that extend beyond the Expo floor.

The Expo floor complements these conversations with curated Exhibitors and open networking, creating space to engage with NYPA leadership, current suppliers, and peers across industries.

Every element of the day is intentionally designed to support connection, movement, and opportunity. Aligned with NYPA’s Vision2030 Renewed goals, the Supplier Diversity Expo reflects a continued commitment to advancing MWBEs, SDVOBs, and small businesses—strengthening local economies, increasing access, and helping power a more inclusive energy future for New York State.

Business Meet-Ups

Targeted Connections That Matter

We heard you. This year’s Expo puts connection first.

The Business Meet-Ups are designed to move beyond traditional panels and create focused, high-value conversations with purpose. These structured, 1:1 meetings connect suppliers directly with NYPA and Canals procurement decision-makers actively working on upcoming projects. Discussion areas span engineering, renewables, nuclear energy, transmission, sustainability, environmental services, construction, technology, and finance, providing businesses targeted access to the teams most aligned with their capabilities.

Each meet-up is intentional, time bound, and outcome driven, giving you the opportunity to:

  • • Introduce your capabilities to the right people
  • • Learn where opportunities exist across NYPA’s priority initiatives
  • • Ask direct questions and get answers in real time
  • • Build relationships that extend beyond the Expo floor

This is networking with purpose.

This is access with intention.

This is where opportunity begins.
